IT Analyst

Job Title: IT Analyst
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Hours of Work: Full time (35 hours per week), permanent
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Reports to: IT Developer

Role

We are presently seeking an IT Analyst to work alongside our IT Developer to support our existing case management solution and to continue with its evolution and refinement. Efficient working is at the core of Jackson Boyd’s service delivery to our clients and we need to continue to streamline the way that we work to support the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Consult within Jackson Boyd regarding opportunities for the use of case management tools
  • Build software components within case management system to be used by all staff members
  • Interpret design requirements from meetings and discussion with staff and management
  • Testing to ensure that specific components meet intended functionality
  • Constant evolution of all existing processes
  • Delivery of case management training to staff

Additional Accountabilities

  • Provide IT support on a wide range of IT software and hardware queries including telephony
  • Assisting with the deployment of IT equipment
  • Delivery of MS Office and general IT training to staff

Experience

  • Experience of working in a similar environment
  • Experience of tailoring IT solutions to support efficient working methodologies
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of SQL would be preferred
