Laura Macdonald joined Jackson Boyd in 2009. A Member of the Employment Lawyers Association, she specialises exclusively in Employment and Discrimination Law, with a particular focus on contentious employment law. She is head of the firm’s employment team and supervises all of the cases in this department.
She has extensive experience of advising on and successfully representing clients in numerous Tribunal Hearings throughout Scotland. Her cases involve unfair dismissal, constructive unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract, assertion of a statutory right and employment status.
Laura is certified by the Law Society of Scotland as an Accredited Specialist in Employment Law.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, dining with friends, reading and travelling.
