Josef Gillies is a Solicitor and part of the firm’s Employment team. He joined the team in 2026 and advises clients on a range of employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and worker status claims. He graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in History before completing his LLB with Distinction and Diploma in Legal Practice.
Josef takes a responsive and conscientious approach to supporting clients. He ensures that he takes time to listen carefully to clients’ concerns, and provides practical support and clear advice to help them navigate workplace disputes and employment law issues. He has a passion for litigation and is committed to developing his advocacy skills while achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Outside of work, Josef enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son, including family days out to the cinema and movie nights at home.
