Karen Paterson arrived at Jackson Boyd in 1996 having previously spent nine years in the claims department of two major insurers. Her main area of expertise is in RTA claims and she also specialises in personal injury claims.
As Team Manager, in addition to dealing with complex personal injury claims, she is responsible for the day-to-day running of the department, supervising staff and allocating post and new claims. She is also in charge of client reports and enquiries and deals with any client complaints at the initial stages. In addition, she has various administrative and HR duties.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
