We recently represented a client who was charged with dangerous driving following a incident last year. Our client was an experienced driver who had no previous penalty points but on the day in question had collided with two vehicles on the wrong side of the road. Their memory of the incident was limited and they were unable to offer any explanation as to what happened.
Following on from a detailed investigation by our firm and consideration of the evidence provided by the Procurator Fiscal we were able to identify that our client’s medical history may have been a factor on the date of collision.
While not conclusive of matters our team were able to negotiate with the Procurator Fiscal and ultimately the charges were withdrawn.
