The CSR Team would like to thank everyone that participated in, and donated to, the 12 Days of Christmas Fundraiser. We have raised a fantastic total of £1,312.50 for MND Scotland. MND Scotland are delighted with our contribution and sent us the following note;
“The money you raised will be used to help people affected by MND in Scotland, and will help fund our practical, financial, and emotional services throughout Scotland, including; one-to-one counselling, benefits advice, a loan of our communications equipment, virtual support groups and more. You’ll also be funding vital research, in Scotland, to help take us a step closer to finding a cure for this devastating illness.”
Upcoming Events
- The team are arranging for a mindfulness coach to visit the office in February to run a staff session on mindfulness techniques and tips to reduce stress and improve mental wellbeing.
- The CSR Team are also planning to host a Bingo night in early March to raise funds for one of our chosen charities.
- We are saddened to hear of the recent situation in Turkey and Syria. Devastating earthquakes have killed thousands of people and hundreds of buildings have been destroyed. Survivors are facing freezing conditions and need urgent aid. The CSR Team are arranging to hold a bake sale in the office on Friday 17th February 2023. The proceeds will go to the DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee) Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal.
