Description of Role
We are currently seeking a Claims Negotiator to join our Road Traffic Personal Injury Team in Glasgow.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of RTA personal injury claims, handling matters from initial instruction through to settlement. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong claims handling, negotiation and client-care skills, with appropriate training and support provided.
You will join a supportive and collaborative team, with clear opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the firm.

Key Accountabilities
Under appropriate supervision, the successful candidate will:
- Manage a caseload of RTA personal injury claims
- Effectively utilise the firm’s case management systems
- Manage all claims correspondence efficiently
- Establish liability and indemnity on allocated claims
- Negotiate claims to conclusion
- Maintain accurate diary and case management control
Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required
- At least two years’ experience dealing with road traffic accident claims
- Previous experience of issuing proceedings in RTA cases would be beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence colleagues
- Good IT skills and ability to adapt to new technologies
- Organised, proactive and able to manage workload effectively
