Description of Role:
We are currently looking for trainee solicitors to join our personal injury team with immediate effect.
We are seeking team players with strong communication skills, a high level of empathy and good attention to detail. You must be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You must be passionate about providing clear legal advice with a strong customer focus.
We are offering the opportunity to train in a positive and supportive working environment, working alongside our industry leading lawyers. The successful candidates will be responsible for their own caseload of personal injury cases both pre and post litigation. They will also have the opportunity to assist senior members of the team with more complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:
- To manage a caseload of personal injury cases both pre and post litigation.
- To assist partners and senior staff in dealing with more complex cases.
- Carrying out pre-litigation investigations.
- Taking precognitions
- Drafting court papers
- Appearing in the sheriff courts as appropriate
- Negotiating settlements.
- Complying with our clients’ service level standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent client communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Commercial awareness and applying it to each case.
- Ability to work autonomously.
