Description of Role:
We are currently looking for a file handler to join our motor claims insurance recovery team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload of motor insurance recovery files. The cases will largely arise from Road Traffic Accidents.
We require an ambitious and motivated candidate who can work autonomously while providing a first-class service to our clients. Appropriate training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of motor insurance recovery files.
- Taking Precognitions.
- Conducting pre litigation investigations into liability, causation and quantum.
- Communicating with Third Party Insurers.
- Negotiating Settlements.
- Complying with our clients’ Service Level Standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Some experience of working within a motor claims team in a legal firm or an insurance company.
- Excellent client communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Commercial awareness and applying it to each case.
- Ability to work autonomously.
