Law Accountant
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will provide support to the in-house Law Accountant with a caseload primarily focused on litigated awarded expenses. This will encompass a diverse range of cases, including RTA, EL/PL, and Disease claims. Key responsibilities will include preparing accounts of expenses, reviewing accounts, drafting objections, and engaging in negotiations with Third Party agents.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and interpret terminology, maintain attention to detail.
- Follow instructions through various forms of communication.
- Strong Negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate the capability to effectively manage and complete tasks within established timeframes, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality or attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Teams).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Based in Glasgow City Centre with a hybrid working arrangement available after training.
Hours of Work:
- Full Time – 35 hours per week
Full training and support will be provided including undertaking the Society of Law Accountants in Scotland SOLAS qualification (www.solas.org.uk).
